Mrs Collins came to us in tears, she had two young children and her husband had walked out, leaving her with all of the debts, the mortgage and the children to take care of all on her own. To make matters worse, her husband had taken out several joint loans shortly before leaving. She had taken advice from several sources, each telling her that she had no choice but to go bankrupt.

With this in mind we were able to select an Insolvency Practitioner from our panel who specialises in just this type of situation, and who was able to resolve the situation by arranging a five year IVA that was affordable and enabled her to get on with her life.
