In Scotland the equivalent version of an IVA is a Protected Trust Deed (PTD).

Like an IVA this can write off a large proportion of your debts (subject to your circumstances), and if you keep up the affordable monthly payments, you will be debt free usually within 36 months which is sooner than an IVA at 60 months.
